Fourteen-day right of withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer purchasing online, you may withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason within 14 days. For a single delivery, the period begins on the day you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, receive the books. For books delivered separately under one order, it begins when the last book is received.
To exercise this right, send an unambiguous statement to info@stdominicpress.com before the deadline and identify the order. You may use the model form below, but it is optional.
After notifying us, send the books back within 14 days to: ST. DOMINIC & CO., poslovne storitve, d.o.o., Sagadinova ulica 15 A, 2250 Ptuj, Slovenia. You bear the direct cost of return shipping. You may inspect books as you would in a shop, but you are responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Refund following withdrawal
We refund payments received for withdrawn goods within 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. For a full withdrawal, this includes the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery. We may withhold the refund until we receive the books or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first. The refund uses the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise, and we do not charge a refund fee. Additional cost resulting from a more expensive delivery method chosen by you is not refundable. For a partial withdrawal, any outbound-delivery reimbursement is determined by applicable law.
Incorrect, damaged, or non-conforming books
The withdrawal right is separate from your rights when goods are missing, incorrect, damaged, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract. Consumers have at least a two-year legal guarantee for goods under EU law, subject to any stronger mandatory national rights. If a claim is valid, the applicable law provides a remedy without charge, which may include repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
